Uh huh... Yipes! I've seen tuners dress practically like that and seem to think it's OK to show up looking like a street worker or something worse. No wonder some of the rest of us get a bad rap! People used to say to me because I always wear dress clothes to work "gee, I expected you to show up with blue jeans that had holes in them! The last person always did so I figured that was normal for piano tuners because you couldn't afford to dress properly!" Nice huh???

I guess you gotta grin and bear the customers who are like that. They have no reference. You have to become their reference, so they'll never hire the trashy guy again.

Yeah, it kind of makes you stop and think for a minute for sure.

I can't count the amount of times people think they can say whatever they want and have no manners at all like; "you can really make a living at this?"

Yeah, that's just rude.

This would be ideal if my piano tuner dressed like this! (Anybody see the piano in this picture?) But . . .

Think that I can honestly say I've seen piano tuners in almost everything imaginable, but my favorite is just a plain white shirt and a nice pair of jeans!

But . . . personally, I really don't care how a piano tuner dresses,
just as long as my piano doesn't end up looking and sounding like this, . . . I'm happy!

So how's the weather holding up in the Northland?

Well, here's the weather forecast for Kalkaska Michigan where we are heading once again on Friday for 10 more days of vacation. My last until next year.

And here is the forecast for Grand Rapids. We've actually had a very COLD summer here considering that July and August are usually in the mid to upper 80's and into the 90's at times.

Wow! That's a bit chilly for August! Looks like it'll be warming up though...I'll bet it's pretty and green.

Have had a few tornados hit not far from here! The houses ended up looking a bit like this!
