I recently acquired a Hammond / Lyons & Healy organ; model number C-2, serial number 45777. I don't have any room for it in my house and will need to sell it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me when it was make, how to go about selling it and how much I should expect to get for it. From what I can tell, it appears to be in fairly good condition. The Hammond C2 organ was a church model from the early 1950s. Featured 2 61 note manuals and the 25 pedal board. Usually accompanied with a Hammond and/or Leslie speaker. It was contemporary to the B2, but had a back on it as a "modesty pannel" for church use. Some rock musicians still seek these to "chop" as road instruments. Try ad in Penny Saver, Craig's List, or Ebay. If it is working, it should sell for between $300-$700.
