Musically Fluent is a new arena for students and teachers of music to explore a completely different approach to musical training. The focus of this exciting approach is to unlock or unblock the natural musicality that human beings are designed to possess and to express.

Musically Fluent empowers students musically and unlocks their talents in ways that traditional methods of musical learning do not.

Musically Fluent does not replace the one-to-one interaction of a teacher but through its resources, interactivity and shared experience with other community members, it does provide complete support for anyone curious about developing their musicianship. There are studies, exercises and games, plus lots of audio-visual support material. Each member has their own profile and can write their own blog, as well as participate in discussion forums and chat with other students.

Please check out Musically Fluent and see if this is what you have been looking for to support the development of your musicianship!

And this isn't advertising? Where's the PW outrage? Where's the "take out an ad?" Hmmmm.

Seems like the best thing that happened to music method and teaching in this century to me. Sorry for my late reaction, but I am a very new member here, and I think Phil Bests method deserves more attention. I have studied music and other interesting things for more than fifty years, and am very familiar with all aspects of western music, from medieval to contemporary.
Phils general ideas are not new, and have been applied in other contexts for a long time, but not to music. At least not as clearly as in Musically fluent.
I have been working with similar methods in other contexts, but have not had much success with applying them to keyboard playing, until I found Phils method about a week ago in another place in the forum.
I fully understand that that this is not the best method for everybody, but it seems to work for some.
