Yep, it sounds crazy but here in NZ when you have to pay NZD $3,500 (~ USD $2450) for a Yamaha P155 then I think I still, in fact, save some money on this purchase. Moreover, recently I've got 'piano bug' which make it very hard to keep myself on 'standby' mode waiting until the CP50 available in NZ shops ;), so I take the leap and, generally, is happy with the purchase. I'll post about my purchase experience later today when I get back home.

I think I would have flown to the states on one of the $600 tickets often available to from AKL to LAX and brought one back with me on the plane. At least you would have had a "free" vacation trip too. The cost of oversized / overweight luggage is so much on airlines you would have probably had to pay the $600 to take it back with you!

This is a bundle that includes a cheap stand, headphones, a bench, a memory stick, and some kind of piano getting started book. Everything is supposedly new and fully warranted, but the box has been opened so it's $130 less than their standard price for the bundle. I won't get it until 6/2 so I have my fingers crossed that everything will be included, working, and not banged up. Will update my posting when it arrives and say whether it proved wise to save a few bucks or if I just should have paid full price.

The seller bought the Kraft Music Bundle for $1350 a few months ago and did not use the keyboard often enough to justify it sitting in his house. It looks brand new still with box, maybe 3-5 hrs of play. Included was furniture stand (a much needed plus helping to make it very stable), X stand, bench, headphones, etc.
I am in love, especially when I plug it into our surround sound system.
