Hello Piano Forum Members,

I am new to this forum and just wanted to express my appreciation for all of the insights I derived from reading your threads. After a protracted, thorough, and if I might add arduous search, I purchased an Estonia 190 for my nine year old daughter.

I want to acknowledge Gunther for his sage advice and for directing me to Alex at Classical Grands, Ori and Teachum for their thoughts and experience, and Alex Hernandez at Classical Grands who has become a good friend in addition to being a wonderful piano dealer.

The family is eagerly awaiting the delivery of the Estonia 190 mid-April. Thanks again for your help.

I too share your anticipatory pain. My piano is scheduled to come in around the same time as yours. Must ... wait...

Congratulations!!! We're all looking forward to pics. I agree, there are many wonderful folks here that are happy to share their experience. And, in the end, it all comes down to your own.

Mid-April, wow, two weeks. I feel your pain \:D

Best regards, Steve

Congratulations on your new piano! My journey in the purchase of my Mason & Hamlin really started after stumbling upon Classical Grands. Alex was not there, but Steve was a most gracious host. I hope you had a chance to visit the store. It is really a class act. Steve was almost humble in showing me the pianos. I purchased my M&H from a store in Los Angeles that he recommended. Someday I will go back to Seattle and visit that store again.....

Have Fun!

Thank you everyone for your words of support!

To JSCO324/John: I almost purchased a MH BB from Alex. But was outvoted by my wife and daughter who preferred the tone and feel of the Estonia 190. My wife especially felt that the power of the BB was just a bit overwhelming for her taste.

You will love it! You can't go wrong - either with Estonia or M&H or Alex!
You will be 10 years older, ten years from now, no matter what you do - so go for it!

Ah... another validation of my wisdom to have bought my piano before I got married.
