I am looking for a nice reharmonisation for the chorus of
Earth, WInd & Fire - After the love has gone
ANy idea is welcome.........a jazzy way of doing it is appreciated.
I think that´ll be no problem for you guys......
The original sheet
http://www.freehandmusic.com/productdetail.aspx?prodid=362368
C is the chorus, the chords invisible due to commercial are
Cm7, Fm7, Bbm7, Eb7sus, Eb7, Abm7, Db7sus, Db7, Gbmaj7
I thank you in advance.....
PS: If you could write out what voicings you are using would even be more helpful.
Cheers

Define re-harmonizing. What don't you like about the original?
Here are several renditions of the song. Perhaps they will have something that will help.

I have a piano exam and I have to reharmonize the chorus, that means I wanna change chords or add some chords (e.g. dominants, tritone substitutes,) to the original, to make it spicy
Somebody from a German forum changed it :

It sounds great but I am open for new ideas......
cheers
