Hello,
I was wondering if you know a good resource for master classes?

I found some nice advice on playing in different topics in www.pandalous.com, for example on relaxing while playing:

And I found a nice master class of Leon Fleisher here:

Besides those there are the obvious youtube videos, but most of them are short.

Do you know of other good resources?

Most of the teachers' music conferences offer masterclasses of sorts. The WPPC, which is held each Fall in October, has a dozen or so, with students of widely varying repertoire and degrees of advancement. I don't recall if the NCKP, which is in July, has any actual master classes. Betty can help me out here on the MTNA national conference. I seem to recall that they do.

Besides that, our local MTNA chapter has an aggressive program of master classes for our students. Our state level publishes a listing a available teachers for these sessions. These are usually very high caliber individuals, but not the level of Leon Fleisher.

Speaking of which, Mr. Fleisher did do master classes several years at the WPPC.

Are you interested in having someone come and do a master class for your students?

OR Are you wanting to DO a master class?

OR Are you wanting to go SEE a master class?

Pianovision makes a number of their masterclasses available as DVDs. You can find them HERE.
