How does the PX800 compare to the PX120?

I have only heard of it today at Guitar Center, and when I tried it out it felt on par, if not better than the PX120 for only a little bit more money, plus a better sound system/pedals/dust cover included. (The PX120 only came with the stand.)

You described it in a nutshell. The PX-800 is a PX-120 with a better stand, pedals, dust-cover and sound-system. DOn't forget that you can buy a PX-120 with no stand at all, so this is an all-in-one package. The action, sound engine and overall specs are basically identical except for the speakers and case.

If you're going to get a stand for the PX-120 anyway and you don't need to store it (i.e. in a closet or something) when not in use, than the PX-800 would probably be a better choice. It's also one of the best choices for any DP in its price range.

According to the specs on Casio website, the PX-120 and the PX-800 have the AIF sound chip. The PX-800 has a more powerful sound system and it feels like the sound is deeper. The key actions feels about the same for both, I don't know if its placebo but maybe the PX-800 keys felt a little smoother. One thing I noticed when trying out the PX-800 was the pedal unit was loose on their display model. I have to agree that the PX-800 looks very nice. I got the PX-120 from Best Buy for $599 which includes the stand and pedal unit.
