Hi Everyone,

I'm a pianist, not a technician. I'm hoping I can ask the advice of the experts. I'm looking at purchasing (well, the bank is buying it and I'm paying them back over a number of years) a 50" vertical Rud.Ibach Sohne. It's one of the very last ones made (#150,307)

Has anyone had any experience with 'new' Ibachs? I've heard alot of good things about the build quality of the old ones.

The piano sounds and plays great but I'm concerned also with logevity. This piano is a serious investment for me.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Adrean

I know nothing... about that piano.

As with any factory, the build quality can vary hour to hour, day to day or year to year. Each piano is different. To really evaluate a piano, someone with experience needs to be called and they have to see the piano in person.

Adrean, many of the folks who post here are working professionals, so responses can be a little slow.
