So I tried to register and I've come up with a bit of a problem. The registration is easy enough, User name and email address. No worries, got that. Then I go to log on and am ask for a password. I don't have one, was never given one, and was never prompted to pick one. Easy enough because you can click the "forgot your password" button and the site shoots you an email with new password. But I have now waited for over 24 hours for my new password.
I'm not sure the site is fully functional or maybe its me that's missing something.
I'm sorta bummed.

I received an email with my password when I first registered.

You might want to add iupress@indiana.edu to your address book or safe senders list.

Thank you. I'll try adding the address. I'll bet my firewall is blocking the email. I'll let you know what happens.

So I not only added iupress@indiana.edu to my address book but, after not getting a password, I emailed them too. Still nothing. Maybe I'm just being impatient. It does indicate at the bottom of the iu page that the site is currently being built. I think there must be a glitch. Thanks for your help though. I wonder if anyone else is having trouble.

Ah, Charlie, I'm having the same problem! I went through the registration but still no password after a couple of days.

Although I'm not glad to hear that you, Jazzy, are also having problems with the site, I am glad to know that I'm not doing something wrong. Thank you for at least helping my fragile self esteem. I think the site is in the "construction" phase maybe? To bad I really wanted to look through a couple of the music books there. Oh well. Win some, lose some.

I just registered and got my password immediately.

This is nice. Does anyone know other sites like this? Maybe we should start a thread and sticky it.

PS: I just registered too and got the password in 1 minute.

charliemarley, it's probably not the firewall blocking your emails, but your email spam filter might have moved their reply to the spam folder. Try to see if it is in that folder. If not, I guess try registering again.
