hi, i'm looking for a blues rock piano teacher. i know a lot of jazz people here in LA, but hoping to find someone in that kind of Leon Russell/Bill Payne/Chuck Leavell idiom. anyone have any suggestions? thank you!

Charlie, if you haven't already done so, you might try posting this on the Adult Pianist and regular piano forums. This is primarily a specialized forum for teachers, and the chances of knowing someone with that particular teaching focus is rather slim. Good luck in your search.

By the way, have you done a web search?
