I see too many posts that are hard to read because they appear to be written in a word processor and then pasted into the forum's webform for posting. That's just my guess, but to see a really bad example of a very interesting and long post, take a look at "We finally made the purchase!" Kawai RX-2

I see no problem with that thread, other than the OP is rather ad nauseam and poorly formatted. What's the correlation between non-ASCII characters and a post that's just too long? Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and nuclear weapons.

I really not an expert in this stuff (I just play one with my friends), but at the time I looked at the post with both Firefox and IE7 (on Windows XP), and this is what I saw (I emailed it to myself to save it--I just now made the image of the email). Kawai RX-2

The diacritical marks in my sig were messed up, too. Last edited by Horowitzian; 04/01/09 12:00 PM. Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and nuclear weapons.

If you are on a Mac, press Command (Apple key on older keyboards) and + to magnify and - to shrink things down. If you are on a PC, I believe you press Control and +/-. Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and nuclear weapons.

Thanks - I'm using a new Dell Inspiron (windows Vista) laptop. Things keep popping up when all I want to do is type. Tis a mystery.
