"All things shall perish from under the sky.
Music alone shall live
Music alone shall live
Music alone shall live
Never to die."

No,the first song that comes to my mind when someone mentions camp songs is "It only takes a spark to get a fire going, then soon all those around can warm up to it's glowing, . . . " Has anyone heard that one?

Or in girl scouts camp: "I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee, won't my mommy be so proud of me, . . . "

I've heard the bumblebee song, but not the other.

That song is Pass It On. LOL I can still play that on the piano from memory. Did you go to Young Life Camp?

Remember the one ... Don't you ever laugh when a herse goes by cuz you could be the next to die...

...I asked my mother if I was a gifted child...she said they certainly wouldn't have paid for me.

Oh yes, I forgot it was called Pass It On. The song had probably been around for quite a while when I learned it. As far as names of camps, I can't remember the names of them, some with family, some with youth, some with friends, all church camps outside of Brownies in Girl Scouts. I guess there are/were all kinds of "camps" lol, so I suppose it depends what kind hanna2222 was referring to. Maybe I should have asked you to specify before answering, hanna2222.
