WHY do you compose?

It's psychology for me. Whenever I feel down, or depressed, or just plain sad, I sit down and play (not necessarily compose) a song. I make it up as I go along, so when I'm sad, the song sounds sad, and when I'm hapy, I change, let's say from C minor to C major, and it sounds happy.

In the long run we'll all compost because we can't help it.

Which reminds me about the joke of someone opening Beethoven's coffin and he said to close the lid because he was decomposing.

Sorry all I must be in "a mood" today.
