I've been listening to her new record The Beekeeper, which comes out February 20. It features the piano (of course) coupled with various Hammond organs. Very cool - I highly recommend it. Her new book, about composing and surviving in the music business, also comes out in February. And she'll be touring starting in April. Exciting stuff.

Any Tori folk about? Or impressions of her work at the piano?

I agree. I remember her as a cute little redhead who plays the piano sidesaddle. I don't remember anything about her music, though.

Yes, I'm also a Tori fan. I havn't heard a song of beekeeper yet though.
I like the songs with the band but I do like her more when it's just her and her piano.
Let's just hope she visits Belgium in her tour. I've never seen her live...

Sorry about the mistakes...

Seeing her live is quite an experience, either solo or with the band. Her Spring tour will be solo, with a band tour in the Summer. No details yet or information about her plans for Europe.

Regarding playing sidesaddle: she still does, of course, but she's not 28 anymore, so it's toned down a bit. But you'd be equally entertained by her playing two parallel keyboards at once, with pedals at 180ยบ...
