Swingal mentioned on another thread that he recently celebrated his 80th birthday.  I didn't see a little birthday cake icon on the big day itself, but I figure that 80 years on this planet is too major of an achievement to let go by unacknowledged.  Happy Birthday, Swingal!! Hope you had a wonderful day filled with family and piano.

Hi all,
Many, many thanks indeed for your kind thoughts. I'm most touched by your words and I hope to stay as fit as possible to reach even higher numbers. I do believe in being cheerful and eat the right foods, if that is any help.
My sincere thoughts to you all,and yes Monica, I did have a really good family get-together at a surprise party on March 9th.
