Hello, I've taken 4 piano lessons and I'm having a tough time memorizing music notes. My teacher gave me flash cards to study. Is there any other resources for memorizing music notes?
Many thanks!
Lindy

Try this, I'm sure I got the link on this very site, but can't say where.

That's a good site. Take your flash chords with you - when ever you have a few moments get some study in. I enjoy using paper back song books -- like the flash chords -- open to a page and see what you can do.

Hal Leonard Songs of the 60's (The Decade Series) 60 songs for $10.

Good luck.

There is a briiliant piece of software called Mozart - this has helped my note reading no end.

I have been using the following site every night for several years before I go to sleep and it has helped me a great deal. I will admit I put off lessons for several years until I found this site. Learning the notes is a major issue for some of us so you are not alone. I can now do 50 in an average of 1.8 seconds each with an occasional error.
