howdy doody all laugh

I went to my lesson yesterday, and wasn't prepared to start a new supplemental piece. I had ordered a fantasy impromptu that was categorized as level 3 but it turned out to be too easy (although when my teacher saw it and I commented it's too easy she said "I don't know there's a lot going on there", so I had it 2 weeks and I'm done with it" After I finished playing it yesterday she said "That was too easy" cool

So I'm looking for a nice piece that I can work on. I have allll kinds of books and I'm considered early intermediate level. I would appreciate any suggestions on pieces I can work on. I can go to my books and probably find them there by titles.

PS I don't like bach. /hides No I'm serious, I don't like his music and I know by confessing this I risk being booed and hissed but it's the truth confused I don't find his music melodius I suppose, not sure what it is but if you guys can forgive me I promise I'll buy you candy. laugh

How about some Chopin? I don't know any specific pieces, but you could spend a lifetime playing his music. You might read through the "For those totally devoted to Chopin" link to get some ideas.

why not try Daquin's Le Coucou, which is a fun piece and good for training some basic finger skills. you can find some videos at youtube.com playing it.
