Okay, I made up the part about the fridge, but since I made the post, my girlfriend has agreed that Frederic is a good name for the Fridge.

I always wanted to pretend that I was an architect.

My Jeep's name is Gertrude. (Dirty Gertie, after I've taken her off-roading for the mud-bath that she requires, in order to maintain her good looks!)

The central heat/air unit is named Hector. (I don't know how that name came about, but now I'm going to have to name the dishwasher and the fridge.)

The pianos don't have names, but I'll need to rectify that, too.

The Yamaha... Lady Helga. (Dominatrix, that she is!)

The Alesis digital is easy: Al.

The coffee maker is named Sam, because he reminds me of the character in "The Hobbit." Always faithful, sometimes sputters and stutters a little, but day after day, he just chugs along, doing what he's asked.

My piano's name is George. Here's an explanation of why I call him George: http://asortofnotebook.blogspot.com/2005/02/wherefore-art-thou-george.html.

I used to have a clavinova named Electra, but I sold her.

Coming back to piano again in my middle age, and enjoying every minute.

Oops--sorry. I scratched my head for a minute on this one, then realized the period at the end of my sentence was included in the URL. Try this:

I have'nt "officially" named my M&H "BB" yet, but I tell people that the "BB" stands for "Big Boy"!

Unofficially, I think he (the piano) can talk, as all it ever sais to me is "hey, come here and dust me!!" :p

Usually known as THE Piano. As opposed to the digital.
