Heres Brickmans "Sweet Dreams" by me on youtube on my new to me piano.

The tech came today and worked wonders on the key bushings (keyboard now feels like new) and did a glorious tuning also. I am pretty much over the moon right now!

Great playing stephenc. The new piano sounds fantastic. It's really great to see video instead of just pictures. Congratulations !

thanks for watching and your comments sid and DeepElem! The audio isn't great at all (directly from my digital camera (made for photos with video an ancillary feature), but its certainly not terrible.

Anyway, heres another video, this time of the Chopin D flat nocturne.

Very nice playing stephenc! You've definitely upped the ante - you'll have us all running out to buy video cameras so we won't feel left out posting mere recordings!

By the way, I thought the audio sounded better on the Chopin, perhaps the placement of the camera (and microphone) more at an angle to the piano helped? Not sure, at any rate, great playing!

Wow, I am so impressed with your lightness of touch, it makes me feel like a banger. Ah well that is because I am a banger! But watching you really inspires me to lighten up. Thank you so much for the video, it is so educational to see other people play. Loved it. Happy

I think you have a new love, Stephen. Other people had better not expect you to do anything that will drag you away from this beauty.

Great music! thumb

So happy for you, Stephen. The piano wouldn't sound half as good if it weren't for the player!

Wonderful,
Kathleen

That was beautiful, Stephen! When you first started playing, I got feeling all excited that maybe this would FINALLY be a Brickman piece I could play, because it's not really all that fast, but the more I listened the more I realized it had the usual tricky rhythms that he loves to rely upon.

Great job, and very good-looking piano!
