My wife and I have had some really bad luck with piano teachers so we have been going it on our own for the last six months or so. We had been sticking to ones that come to the house and they were either a bit odd (one screamed at my neighbors), or a bit burned out (one stopped teaching and now grooms dogs). We are now looking for a teacher with a studio or school where they teach. Does anybody here know a good teacher in Houston? We are located near downtown (Memorial Park) and would prefer not to drive all the way out to the suburbs for lessons. If you cannot recommend someone specific, can you offer some advice on how to find a good teacher?

Hello,

I am a private music teacher in Houston. I would love to chat with you about piano lessons. Sounds like you've had some bad luck, sorry to hear that.

If you are still seeking a teacher, feel free to get in touch with me. I have an extensive music background, and I've been teaching piano for 12 years. I'm also a performing singer-songwriter.

Thanks,

Tamara
