I was playing Carols for my Grandchildren (By Ear) and my daughter came running to tell me that my playing had changed enormously for the better. "what a beautiful Touch and Legato"
she is grade 8 so I was complimented.
Yippee! something is working.
Now back to the lessons and reading the music!

Well done from another granny. I just started teaching myself a year ago at 68 and I think its harder for us oldies - i wish I had learned years ago - it would have taken about 6 weeks to get where I am today! Happy New Year and keep flying the flag!
