babama, Very nice "Chariots". I always like the emotions evoked by that song. Very appropriate choir effects.

[/b][/QUOTE Well, it would now seem logical to assume (given the above) that some here (not me, but some) would not want Dennis to play accompaniment to Bill's singing any time soon :p Regards, JF Gentlemen: there are minors (and moderators) reading your posts!

Well, I don’t know how much of a performance this is, but here is the intro on a Christmas piano music DVD I recorded to give out as Christmas presents to my friends and family. So, here is my Christmas gift to all my good friends on the PW ABF. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tl_lKMKhhng Merry Christmas! Rick

Elssa, you picked a real classic this time. I think every singer under the sun has recorded this one at one time or another. Great job!

JohnFrank, I personally do not think Bill's singing is bad. That was simply a comment my wife made over my shoulder as I watched his video. As I also pointed out, her taste in music is rather suspect. I probably should not have made that comment, but I was feeling playful at the time. As you said in your comment (which I missed before it was edited by YD), "the devil made me do it." My playing will never be as good as I would like, though. I just don't have enough time or determination to get there. And, yes, there are minors reading here, so let's all keep it "clean", please.

I'm really enjoying all the Holiday music. I figured this one would have been done by now. "Have Yourself A Very Merry Christmas" folks. http://www.box.net/shared/kvzi7uifmf

I find it more than a little ironic that I've had to spend 20 minutes deleting various and assorted nasty exchanges in a Christmas thread. A pointed warning to the protagonists: this behavior must cease or risk being banished from the forum.
As I have said elsewhere, take it outside.
Let's get back to sharing beautiful Christmas melodies. Merry Christmas everyone!
Greg

http://www.box.net/shared/kvzi7uifmf Thank you, Manndrew, for getting this thread back on track. That was immensely enjoyable. You played it very nicely.

Manndrew, That was simply lovely. The little bit of rubato here and there really adds to the atmostphere. I really like the arrangement too. (What is the sheet music, or is it your own?)

Manndrew - Really Nice! You play this with a strong and gutsy left hand. I also like the arrangement and the sound of your piano especially the lower registers.
