Oh, if you hadn't seen my earlier posts...it's a Yamaha C3.

Here's another shot. I have been pounding away now for about two hours, my back hurts....my fingers won't work, etc., but I have managed to recover the first two stanzas of Fur Elise, the little tune I thought I would never forget...WRONG! It really is weird, if I play it really fast I don't miss a note, but if I slow down I make all kinds of mistakes....what's with that??

Congratulations, JamesA, on your beautiful new piano! I bet you'll have calluses on your fingers by the end of the week. And don't worry about those dampers. I think my new piano ended up having 8 sticky dampers in the first couple of months. I gather that's just part of the adjustment process of a new grand.
