Thanks! Baby steps! Hey now I'm at one hundred and one! Err, not that I'm counting. Simply an observance wink

Have a great day all....

Every once in a while I glance in the list of topics in this forum and when I see this thread is still alive and well, it gives me one good chuckle for the day. This thread has got to be the funniest thread on the net.

Wow....the recent recital on 8/15 was another 1 for the history books!!

Everyone deserves a round of applause for sharing their beautiful playing.

I'd rather listen to those of us in the forum than professionals! Although, many of you sound like professionals!

Yay for us!!! laugh

Have we decided to let this one fade away......

I thought with many people changing their names that I might try a change in avatar.

What do y'all think of this one?

Hard to believe this thread has been alive for 16 months (and 42 pages of posts). I might have asked a moderator to just delete it in the beginning, but then I guess it wouldn't have been nearly as much fun. :-)

The concept of the "ONE Minute Manager" is pretty helpful when applied to piano practice for those who are finding it hard to find time to practice.

Or, you could say just ONE more measure, ONE more time, and that helps eke out a few more determined minutes of piano practice when you think you don't have time to play.

ONE posting at a time, the topic of "1" has grown to 42 pages of posts over a 16 month period of time (thanks Akira for the statistics) and I'm suggesting that your practice time can greatly increase by making use of small minutes - when they accumulate over time - they are significant.

The forum's software has numbered my last 5 posts as 98 and 99 and then back to 98...

So I hope the forum's software now shows this post as my 100th post! It's my pleasure and honor to be among all of you wonderful folks thumb [singing "ce-le-bration time come on!"]

edit addition: What the heck! When I posted this just minutes ago, it shows this as post number 100. Now both this post and the one 2 posts down are BOTH post number 102!!!

Notice, furthermore, that the forum engine always increments said number of posts by 1, in contradistinction to 2, 3, or 17...

Might as well make my 101st post here too!

No, no, I am not trying to be a hog. Actually I have a question. Under My Profile, what does Update New Post Indicators do? May be that has something to do with my posts being number 99,98,99 etc?

edit addition: See comments 2 posts ago! confused
