This Argentinian site has a huge collection of Tangos, Waltzes, etc to download: The Todo Tango Library They don't seem to be in pdf format, so I just right-click and "save as" on each score. There's no such thing as too many tangos, I think. Or too many waltzes, for that matter. Mel

Love to try a tango. Don't recognize a single name, though. Can anybody tell me which is the most famous one (or at least well-recognized)?

Akira, I don't know which ones are famous, but Carlos Gardel's "Por una Cabeza" is played in Schindler's List: Por Una Cabeza Mel

Oh Boy, More sheet music to download and print!
I have The Joy of Waltzes, Tangos and Polkas but havn't tried any yet. I've wanted to work on a Tango since I played Don't Cry For Me Argentina. Maybe these pieces will motivate me to pick one up!

Por Una Cabeza is also the tango in True Lies... That is if you've actually watched that one.

As a side note make sure you save each page of the music. For example Por Una Cabeza is two individual images that you need to save, not just one.

Por Una Cabeza is also the tango in True Lies... That is if you've actually watched that one. Thanks! I have seen the movie (also Scent of a Woman). That's the one that was rolling around in my head (although I had no idea what it was called). Its a beautiful piece. Might just give it a go.
