dk...I was in no way offended....I'm exactly 1 yr. into this and and well aware of my beginner status and loving every minute! I am teaching myself and therefore I only have y'all to ask my questions to and I appreciate any and all answers! Heck, I am still amazed that I can play anything at all on the piano....I don't give darn if its easy or not!!! laugh

:::edit::: sorry, I hijacked this thread...now back to the regular programming!:::::

eek
OK...after reading this disturbing news...I will now just be picturing all of you in your underwear as I perform my piece. And then as I listen to each of you perform I will go ahead and picture you playing in your underwear......

How easy would you more experienced players say this is? I have no idea if I am playing like Grade 1 stuff or what...
I just took a look at it. I don't know anything about Grade levels (I never worked with a formal curriculum), but I would call it advanced beginner, myself. It's definitely not early beginner, as it's got all those chords and not the most straightforward rhythm in the left hand.

I want all of you to know that I will be playing my recital piece in a nun's habit. laugh

Sorry Monica, dvdiva already has that covered. Wait 'til you hear her music - it so reminded me of the Singing Nun. wink

Aw shucks...okay, I'll be doing my recital in full knight's armor.

Hey Bob...can you drop us any hints? About how many submissions have you gotten so far? [asks in a VERY casual tone of voice] Has anybody sent in the same piece, ha ha? [a tad less casually now] Er, nobody sent in the same thing as I did, did they?

In my part of the world, nuns don't look like little white donkeys (or even sound like them, except for that nun who brayed in my ear once). laugh But it's all a matter of opinion!
