Hi. This is my first foray into the internet forum thing, so I think it's good manners to introduce myself. I am an engineer by day and fair to middling piano player in the evening (good chance to use the other side of my brain). My curiosity was roused by the contest you are all talking about - I think I'm too late to join but would love to find out about it. I've been in a rut as far as picking music to learn lately. It all seems pretty easy or way too hard.

Welcome - and enjoy your new friends. I know we have a group of folks practicing; you have to practice every day or you fall off the list. Is that what you are referring to?

Welcome aboard!

Yes, some of us are playing a little game called "Master of Your Domain." The upshot is that you commit to practice every single day.

Here's the original thread. Have a look and see if you're interested. If so, give a shout out at the bottom and we'll add you to the list. So far, a lot of us are doing a lot of practicing like we've never done before, so watch out!
