Hello! New here and been lurking for a while. Wondering if anyone here has heard of this method. I am new to piano/keyboard and ordered this course about a week ago. It's taught my Merrilee Webb. (Found it through YouTube searching for online instruction.) Have only done week one of the 16-week course and so far it seems pretty easy. Bottom line, regardless of method, I know it's about practise, practise, practise.

Anyone familiar with this method and can share pros and cons?

Hello,
I am not familiar with this method but this is a good beggining.
My suggestions: After you're familiar with the position of each note in the pentagram, I suggest you practice reading songs and adding also the rhytm.
There is a Book called: Preparatory School by Ferninand Beyer. This is a good book that will teach you the basics (This is a very popular book in music schools).
Also you can check this website: http://www.notationmachine.com/how_to_read_sheetmusic/reading_rhythms_exercises.htm

Good luck!!
