Hi Chrissi

Quote
Chrissi,

You ARE HOT. You are sexy...you are female... and you have a nice piano. I love your hair and you have a beautiful face - and your eyes look right into at the camera and say - hey - I'm Chrissi - and this is where I play MY piano. Such a sunny space. Thanks for sharing.
Sharon took the words right of my mouth...you look beautiful to me too! laugh ...what are you talking about?

I love this thread, seeing all the pianos and all the happiness in the photos.

regards

Ok, I finally got a more recent picture, although the quality of it is no better than the first one. However, this is a current picture of me at 45 years old! (Ugh, can't believe I'm that old already) Since everyone is showing their gorgeous grand and uprights, I also want to share my gorgeous Casio PX100 too! laugh

I really hate pictures of myself and can't believe that I am actually posting this!!! whome

Great pic Rocky and you sure don't look 45! You should turn that keyboard over to the other wall so you can look out the window as you play. I hate facing the wall!

Luigi, Sharon, pianoga, Seaside_Lee,

your compliments make me blush a little bit, thank you for your kind words! smile

dfvanden,

it's great that you like my piano. I love the colour very much (Cherrywood) and it matches perfectly with our furniture (much better than a black one would).
And yes: the place is great, during scale-practising I can have a look in the garden:

[Linked Image]
This was on March 11, 2006 and it's a little contrast to Super-Hunkys super-hot desert laugh
But I have to admit: no llamas here, only sometimes little birds and squirrels.
Today snow is gone and the air begins to smell like spring... (very late, this year)

I don't have many pictures of myself, here's one from a trip 5 years ago. I look the same except for: more gray hair, more lines on my face, and a more relaxed look of contentment with my aging process. I'll post a more recent one, along with a picture of the pianos soon.

*I* think you are ALL hotties, I don't care how old you are or what you are wearing! And so are all your pianos!

As for me, well, you can count me among those who would not fit atop her piano. Granted, it is a big upright, but still.... laugh I leave the piano lounging to one of the cats. She's much prettier than I am, anyway.

Chrissi:

What beutiful snow pics you have. It's kind of ironic that you made mention to my "sunny and warm" location on March 11th of this year as that was the day we had some unbelievable freaky weather. It actually SNOWED!, in Arizona. on the same day as you!!

Sure, its just a dusting, but it is incredibly rare to say the least! Normally, we are in the 90's this time of year!!

Wouldn't that be a hoot! I actally have a "long lost brother", but he's a bit older than Bob, and living around Lake Tahoe. Strange tale that is (i'll save that one for a different forum).

I wondered if you got any of that. There were chili cook-offs that weekend and it was funny reading about people who couldn't make it to them because they were snowed in, and about the "freezing" weather they had on Sat & Sun morning! LOL

Agreed, that is a lovely setting you have there.
Just curious, is that picture looking towards the West (maybe W-N-W)? Just a guess.

I guess some of our northeastern snow went to Arizona. We've had a relatively "mild" winter over here.

She's 9 and she's already played on a grand? Wow, I hope I can do that without embarrassment by 40. Problem is, I can't play a single thing without sheet music. I am not going to play Mary had a Little Lamb on a beautful grand in front of people.

Hi, Hunky!

How funny that you had snow the at same time! In my fantasy your desert was always a very hot place where all the llamas try to remove their wool-pullovers and jump into the big pool laugh

Your picture is fantastic! As Sharon said: it looks like a painting.

Yesterday, we had freaky weather, too! There was a thunderstorm with black clouds and lightnings above me and a sunset like a big fire at the horizon. I have taken these photos with my cell phone while driving my car, so they aren't very good:
