Wow Luigi, that room looks about as live as it can get. Unless there's a huge tapestry behind the photographer, you must wear ear plugs when you play.

How are you guys posting pics? When I look at the reply form there isn't something that says "attach files" so how do I post with a picture?

Hobie:
If you are putting up a link to a picture (.jpg or the like), click on the Image box in blue below the reply form. If you are using a url to a website, use the URL box. Both will bring up a dialog where you can type in the link. HTH!

How are you guys posting pics? When I look at the reply form there isn't something that says "attach files" so how do I post with a picture? Hobie, you need to upload the file to a host if you don't have it online already. To upload a photoTry this... goto an image hosting site like the one below. http://www.imageshack.us 1. Click browse and select your file, 2. If the image is really big, check the box next to the upload button that says resize and select the "resize to 640x480 (message board)" size. 3. Click "host it" and wait for it to upload 4. When it's done, it will show you several different links to your image. It will look like the screen shown below. Just select the "Direct link to image" link and copy it (right click and select copy). 5. Goto the forums and select full reply form. 6. Press the "IMAGE" button shown next to all the smiley faces. A window will pop up asking for the link. 7. Paste in the link you copied (Right click and paste). 8. Preview your post to make sure the picture worked. That's all there is to it. This link should work for 30 days after the last person views it. I should add, if you don't register with them, you won't be able to get back to the page with links. If you lose the link and close the window you will have to re-upload the file and get a new link.

But I agree with Sharon: Every one of your posts sounds like you're beaming from ear to ear. But you don't smile for a camera???

[/IMG] [Slaps hand on forehead] The only explaining I can do is that I have a malfunctioning short- AND long-term memory! I hate it when I'm typing a reply and it won't let me go back up and see the previous posts and I have to rely on memory. It must have been Bob's post I was thinking about. Anyway, it is very nice to know that you ARE capable of smiling!

You were right, you weren't far off from the picture I posted, but you look a little more refined than the guy in my post. What year is that photo from (the muscle shot)?

Euan, you look very handsome in your kilt!! Thanks for sharing that! I have a friend from Scotland who teaches English here in Japan, and he says that he always has "provide a kilt picture" when he has new students etc. Once, when he confessed that he didn't have a kilt here with him in Japan, he said several students were so disappointed that it kind of ruined the entire lesson and instead of doing the planned conversation exercises, they spent the rest of the lesson working silently in the workbook! :p Re KJC, it took me an embarassingly long time to get the joke-- adult-beginners forum, adult films, right? no? sorry, I'm slow!! Ok, I am off to look for a photo to share here. Though in the meantime, if you haven't already, please take a look at my web page linked here, it has a photo of me.

Euan- nice kilt! Gotta love a man in a kilt! Sharon- I hear ya on the "messy basement!" Why do you think I cropped that pic of mine as close to the piano as I could possibly get it????

mr_super-hunky: is that Mr.America photo with the bulging muscles for real??? I never thought your nickname would be so apt! Now I'm sure some of us here will think twice before criticizing your piano playing!

Sharon (Don't nobody notice the messy room, thanks). BTW: That's the old acoustic - the nice new PX100 is upstairs. Special thanks to: Super-Hunky for this really fun thread idea. Genius. Special thanks to Andrew - a.k.a. Shortcircuit85 - for without your "instructions" it never would have been possible to post up these pix. Edit (next day): Mr. S-H - I didn't notice your original post of "how-to" post up the pix - that was great.
