mahlzeit - you look rather cool, fresh from a rock fest - I like the organization of your piano space. Just how many things can we actually put on top of the piano. I wonder? hmmmmmmmm.

Your space looks cool!

Hue and Momma.

Hue and Michelle.

This is Hue. He's 2 months old. I'm assuming it's a "he" *giggle* - He's a Northern Blue Tongue Skink - and he's very docile... and now resides in Michelle's room.

Well - gots to have another baby man.... what can I say. Hubby just insisted!

Some info: Everything is set up already... had the stuff... just needed to add Hue!

General Description: A heavy bodied skink with short legs and a broad head. Color varies from creamy tan to golden brown. Blue tongues are extremely hardy and thrive in captivity. The blue tongues main attraction is their docile curious personalities. Most seem to enjoy being handled and rapidly learn to recognize their keeper. The Northern Blue Tongues in particular seem to make the best "pets".

Range: The drier portions throughout northern Australia.

Average adult size and longevity: 24"-28" with an average life span of 15 years.

Northern Blue Tongue Skink (Tiliqua scincoides intermedia)

else - the picture speaks for itself.
Colors....architecture ... spectacular... takes
your breath away.

Yup, it's true Sharon. But most of the time we went to bed very late in the night so missed the most of the mornings views.
But the night view is not that bad either smile
BTW: the name of the city is Dubrovnik, Croatia

Like I said, bluemarine - spectacular.... That
night scene makes you think about the people who
used to inhabit/and or visit those spaces,
right? It's not even so much the people who
frequent and/or live there now... it's the past... so much history. The past is sometimes
very magical - it all depends sometimes on your
mood and the people you're enjoying your time with. Nice camera shots, too! smile Make the most of the time you have left.

Oh, I see... I thought is was the same pup in all three pics.... Yes... I see the last one, Brandy is older. *Comfort*... it's okay now.

Hue is doing his thing... buried underneath the coconut bark substrate... it's a quiet animal... and I think for his first hours in my home he's adjusted quite well. It will never be the same, though. Sonny was a friggin monster.... a glorious King of the Reptiles.

Okay - I'm outta here....good night!

bluemarine, what a gorgeous photo. And what a spectacular city. Is that the ocean I'm seeing in the background? I wish more cities in America were as beautiful. smile

Sharon, I'm glad you've got another friend, Hue looks really cute (well, as cute as a Northern Blue Tongue Skink can look laugh ) He or she is lucky to have you for a mommy!!

Sonny is gone but never to be forgotten or replaced. I have a little engraved plate with my cats ashes.....it says "Forever in my Heart" and she definitely will be as I'm sure Sonny will be in yours.

Les -
I'm sorry I didn't read the captions clearly, as
you quite obviously stated Mason in the first
pic, groomed in the second pic, and Brandy girl
in the third... Duh... sometimes... my brain
goes so fast.

Mel - belated condolences on your 18 year old
babe. And again, thank you for your note.

* * * *
Rocky - we were given the opportunity to have
Sonny's ashes. We choose a common cremation.
It's cool... Yup, always in my heart... and your
heart... our pets/children... never to pushed
away and out, the physical replaced, but not the
spirit/soul.

yes Monica, it is the sea, Adriatic Sea.
You can see the cruiser just leaving the harbour

No tripoid M&H, I simply put the camera on the balustrade of the terrace

OK, I am not going to bore you with my pix any more smile
