gmm1,

You're not following the rules of haiku. We will have to subtract points for that.

Hoping you would not notice, Jeff...

It was that last phrase, huh?

We had chocolate chip cookies galore
But still they yelled out for more
With a dry heave and chunder
They blew chunks like thunder
When they found the cookies were made out of spores!

There once was a chocolate chip cookie
So big it could feed a large Wookie
But fur it did fly
'Cause carob was nigh
The cook was removed with a hooky!

(Ok, so that last one probably isn't a word, but, hey, it rhymes!!! LOL)

An aspiring pianist named Pierre
T'was quite fond of his teacher's derriere
He reached out for a feel
She smashed his hands with her heel
And he screamed out, "c'est la guerre!"

Peyton, you have a good voice and the song is nice. I wonder if you could tell me, how do you write songs. Do you first sing the melody or how? However, good job! I even downloaded it:)

Thanks. I write in different ways. Sometimes I'll get a story in my head and start writing lyrics then sit down to find some chords to go with it. I'm working on one now called The Better Man. I had just a rough idea of the story. I did a few lines and then sat down at the piano. Once I had some chords I changed the lines to fit the cadence and melody. So they are sort of working hand in hand.
