Hey adult beginners!

I've been playing some with MySpace but I only have 4 friends right now (poor me smile ). So I was wondering if any of you have MySpace pages too, so we can all add each other. (I feel like a teenager now. laugh )

My page is:

I use 'bebo' more than myspace, so my page isn't very good.

www.myspace.com/69539001

I didn't even select a decent username - it's like having a prison number instead! (not that I know what that's like)

Hey Stephen, thanks. smile Together with a friend I recorded about 5 CD's worth of material, over a period of about 10 years. But most of these songs I don't particularly care for anymore; our first recordings are horrible. laugh

Maybe I'll add one or two others to the MySpace page.

You can also find some songs here (warning: explicit content). The song "RSB" is the latest thing we did together, a month or so ago.

MySpace == Worst. Website. Evar.

Avoid it like the plague and you will be a better pianist. I guarantee it.

Very true.
It will suck away practice time, and if you're unlucky, you might get your fingers cut by a stalker eek

Most of the time those sites are a waste, but occasionally they have their uses:

I found a profile of a girl who was in my uni class. Turns out she works for the same company as I have an interview with next week, so I was able to gain a little bit of inside knowledge smile

Thanks for the adds, folks.

I agree that most of these community sites are a waste of time, but a MySpace artist page is more or less required for musicians if they want to be taken seriously (which seems a little ironical laugh ).

Anyway, I've been neglecting my page for too long, which is probably why no one takes me seriously. wink

All of this online stuff is a waste of time if you let it be. The internet is the prime source of high quality Cat Wax... laugh

mahlzeit,

If that's your intended use for the website, you should get one of those black and white glossy promotional photos where you're wearing a turtle neck staring off at infinity and siting in half light etc. smile

That is true...
I've seen pages with people that have posted more than 10 quizzes with many, many questions each.
Very useful for research(although that is sort of like stalking.)

brojek.

If you make music for teenage girls and emo wrist slashing, you might be right. Otherwise, I'd steer clear. You wouldn't want your music to end up being used as a ring tone on some 14 year olds cellphone now would you?

Hey... I've got my playing as a ring tone on my cell phone, is there something wrong with that?
