I have a question related to your piano positioning. How do you find it sounding given the fact that the lid is opened against the wall, and not into the room. Thank you! :)

Hi,
Sorry for the delated response I haven't been on the forum for a while. This positioning actually was a temporary one after which I moved it in various directions to test out the best possible sound/light options. At the end it is now 180 degrees from the photo with the seat near the window and the tail facing out to the room. As I have very high ceilings the sound wasn't affected a whole lot. However if there is a performance situation with many people sitting in the room it certainly project better. I like a darker/quieter tone when I practice and prefer to keep the piano closed most of the time. The other benefit of turning it around was that now instead of a glare I get nice natural light to read music with.
